Rautia and the Finnish Figure Skating Association to start cooperation
The Rautia chain and the Finnish Figure Skating Association have signed a one-year main partnership agreement. The agreement extends until the international Finlandia Trophy Competition in October 2010.

The Rautia chain has clearly defined the objectives for this cooperation:
By supporting figure skating, a sport enjoying a popularity boom, we want to highlight Rautia stores as shopping places for the whole family, says Rautia chain´s Marketing Manager Jari Lampikari.
An increasing proportion of our customers are women. They are the key decision-makers in families when building, renovation, decoration and other home improvement solutions are planned.
The Rautia logo featuring on figure skaters´ equipment will be the visible symbol of this cooperation on international arenas and other events governed by the Finnish Figure Skating Association. The Rautia chain has a tradition of supporting different sports by, for example, encouraging youths´ physical activities.
This cooperation enables us to direct support to coaching and youths´ leisure activities, which will strengthen Finnish skaters´ possibilities to succeed also in the years to come, says Lea Hietala, Operational Manager of the Finnish Figure Skating Association.
The cooperation agreement will be published at the Finnish Championships press conference to be held in Jyväskylä, on 18 December 2009.
